Zine / Pamphlet. A short, iconic essay that makes the case for the abolition of the prison system. French journalist Catherine Baker, who has also advocated for dismantling obligatory schooling, doesn't stop at why we should shut down prisons, she also looks at what alternatives we may use to replace such a repressive, ineffective system. Originally written in 2005 and translated by Doug Imrie and Michael William.
